Pineapple Upside Down Cake

Pineapple Upside Down Cake is a cake recipe that is baked in a pan with sliced pineapple and served upside down… it’s made with Pineapple, Sugar, Butter, Flour and many other ingredients which are all listed below..  


1 Cup butter
2 cups brown sugar
4 eggs
Pineapple slices (save juice)
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup milk
1/8 cup pineapple juice
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt 


1.       Use a 9 – 10 inches pan
2.       Melt 1/4 cup of the butter over low heat in skillet, add brown sugar make sure to evenly coats bottom
3.       Take pan off the heat, arrange pineapple slices on top of brown sugar
4.       In a large bowl, cream other 1/4 cup of butter with the sugar.
5.       Add eggs, one at a time and mix until blended.
6.       Add juice, milk, and vanilla. Beat until sugar is well dissolved
7.       Sift flour, baking powder and salt and mix with the egg mixture until well blended
8.       Pour batter into the pan
9.       Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes
10.   Let  cool for 10 minutes and then put plate over pan and flip over
